Alex,
Is that a PML 1/2 scale Patriot? What sort of mods did you do to use 98mm motors? Plywood fins or the thicker G-10 fins? I have an unbuilt one in the build queue. I’ve got me some 98 mm motors now, so, it’s time to build. Gonna be at MWP 9? Maybe I can pick your brain there.
Adrian Butler
Hi Adrian,
No, this isn’t a PML kit, it’s made from 100% G12 fiberglass – performance rocketry. I’ve other’s launch the PML kit on 98mm motors, you just need to do a good job on lamination.
Hey Alex,
Just wondering if you launched your AGM-84 Harpoon Missile at LDRS31? Any photos or video? It looks really cool btw. Well done. I’m considering building one as my L3 or an Exocet MIssile.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to launch it. My launch window was Sunday morning, and it was raining cat’s & dogs…. looks like the next launch opportunity will be at midwest power 10 in October. I
